About the club

A club built around young players.

We're a friendly, ambitious volleyball club in Werrington, Peterborough. Most of our week is dedicated to girls' volleyball — a beginners' session for those picking up a ball for the first time, and a busy U11–U14 programme training three times a week.

Parents are always welcome courtside, and new players can simply come along and try a session.

Our Story

Our club's roots go back to Werrington United Peterborough VC, founded by Damian Glab in 2009. Through years of dedication, Damian helped grow volleyball in Peterborough and represented the town in the National Volleyball League (NVL), helping to establish a strong local volleyball community.

In 2025, Phantom Panthers Girls Volleyball Club was founded by Vytoldas Mockus, Denis Tichanovas, and Kinga Budzinska with a shared vision of developing young athletes, promoting girls' volleyball, and creating opportunities for future generations in Peterborough.

Vytoldas Mockus and Kinga Budzinska are certified Volleyball England Assistant Coaches and are committed to continuous professional development, regularly attending coaching courses and workshops to provide the best possible experience for our players.

Today, we continue to build on the strong foundations of volleyball in Peterborough, inspiring young athletes to develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.

Safeguarding

The welfare of children and young people is our priority. We follow Volleyball England and CPSU guidance, including our photography and filming policy. Match photos are shared only through our official social channels in line with that policy.
